Transportation to Symposium
Hello! We are so happy that you will be joining us for the 2026 SAVMA Symposium hosted by the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine (NCSU CVM). The closest major airports is Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Details regarding these airports and how to get to NCSU are included below.

Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) | 2400 John Brantley Blvd, Morrisville, NC 27560
From RDU to Raleigh Convention Center:
25-30 Minutes, 17 miles
The Raleigh Convention Center is adjacent to the Red Hat Amphitheater and is located at 500 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.
From Airport Boulevard, merge onto I-40 E. Take exit 289 towards Wade Avenue. Keep right onto US-70 East. Turn left onto W Cabarrus Street. Then turn right onto S Salisbury Street. Raleigh Convention Center should be on your right.
Transportation Options from RDU: Ride share (Uber, Lyft, etc), rental cars, taxis and GoTriangle.
GoTriangle's Route 100 bus picks up and drops off at the airport from Downtown Raleigh's GoRaleigh Station every 30 minutes through 6:30 PM and then hourly through the evening. The GoRaleigh Station is a convenient 3 1/2 blocks from the RCC.
Additional Transportation:
The R-LINE, Downtown Raleigh’s circulating bus, stops at the main entrance of the Raleigh Convention Center. The bus runs in a clockwise loop and visits each stop about every fifteen minutes.

Where is the Symposium being held?

North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine 1060 William Moore Dr. Raleigh, NC 27607
Wet labs, Bovine Palpation Competition, and other competitions will take place at the NCSU CVM campus.

Raleigh Convention Center 500 S. Salisbury St. Raleigh, NC 27601
Transportation between The Raleigh Convention Center and CVM Campus will be provided! It is a 15 minute drive between The RCC and the CVM Campus.
Lectures, other competitions, and our opening and closing ceremonies will take place at RCC.

Parking Permits
Parking decks in the vicinity of RCC are between $9 - $12 day
Marriott charges $30 a day.
Parking at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine Campus
Parking on NCSU CVM is by permit only. Guest Permits are $10 a day.
