- Do delegates/presidents have a registration code????????
- Yes! Delegates/Presidents should reach out to either the SAVMA President (delegates) or the SAVMA Chapter President Representative (presidents/elects) if they need to find their registration code.
Wet Labs/Day Trips
- How do we go back and sign up for additional wet labs and day trips (after lottery has ended), change one of my responses to questions (ADA, dietary, t-shirt size), change response to vaccine question, add a guest, etc.
- You must locate your confirmation email sent from savmasymposium@ncsu.edu that should have been received after you registered (You can log in after lottery has ended). If you participated in the lottery, you should have received a second confirmation email after your wet lab/day trip was applied to your itinerary. This will be sent the first week of December. On that email it provides the following information:
- Student Attendee Service Center:
- To access your registration record login to the Attendee Service Center using the following credentials.

The user login and password is filled out on every confirmation email, but it has been deleted above to show an example. - Lottery system for wet labs/day trips
- Once the lottery registration period closes, students will be attempted to be placed into either their first or second wet lab/day trip choice. The lottery randomly assigns students into wet labs or day trips based off of the preferences they submit during the registration process. There are NO refunds or exchanges for wet labs/day trips after the lottery is run.
- If you would like to sign up for an additional experience or missed the lottery sign up window:
- Once regular registration is open on December 5th, you will be able to sign up for any wet labs or day trips that are still open that do not overlap with a wet lab or day trip that you are already registered for.
- Dropping a wet lab/day trip
- If you cannot attend the wet lab or day trip you were assigned in the lottery, you may drop it without being refunded. There are NO refunds, switches or exchanges for wet lab/day trip placements. If you wish, you can drop a wet lab or day trip without a refund, you must let us know by emailing: savmasymposium@ncsu.edu in order to remove this from your itinerary. If you do not, you will not be able to sign up for any additional activity that conflicts with the wet lab or day trip time.
- Can I be placed on a waitlist for a wet lab or day trip?
- At this time we will not have waitlists for wet labs or day trips. In the event that a spot does open, the wet lab will be opened back up to the website and anyone who wants to can register for it. We will not be posting if wet lab or day trip spots become available and we recommend periodically checking the registration website to see if your desired wet lab/day trip has an opening.
- Students looking for refunds
- Scheduling conflicts do NOT count towards a refund for registration, wet labs, or day trips.
- Presidents/Elects and Delegates who did not register using the correct code or registered for a wet lab/day trip that now conflicts with a business meeting ARE approved for a refund/partial refund. Officer boards have different term start dates and new officers may not have been elected for their position until after registration. We always encourage students to run for board positions, so we may adjust registration to show attendance as a President/Elect or Delegate as needed. Please email Jackie Ross at Jross@avma.org if you are a president/president elect or delegate who needs to adjust your registration.
Exhibitors
- Do I need to register for a name badge if I'm an exhibitor?
- Yes! However, exhibitor name badge regsitration is not yet available. The SAVMA Symposium 2026 planning committee will be in contact with exhibitors once more information is available. Registration for exhibitors is a separate registration website and log in that is different from student registration. Exhibitors will receive an email with the proper regsitration link once the registration is open.
- Exhibitors looking to register for a booth at Symposium

- For companies that wish to pay the registration fee for their student reps
