Quiet Spaces: 
We will have calm and supportive environments available for attendees who may need a break from the sensory or social demands of the conference. 
  • RCC Room 205: A comfortable, dimly lit space with bean bags, weighted blankets, puzzles, fidget toys and more.
  • CVM Library: Individual rooms and group quiet rooms are available with comfortable seating. There is also a meditation and prayer room. Our library cat, Chickpea, will be available for you to visit. The CVM library will be open on 3/13 from 7:30 am-6 pm and 3/14 from 1 pm-5 pm.

Non-gendered Restrooms: 
  • RCC: Available in the Main Lobby, Ballroom Lobby, and Mezzanine
  • CVM:
    • Available in the main building Room C251
    • Ask at the Library Service Desk to use the single-user, gender-inclusive restroom located in the VML Staff Room. 
Free Parking at the CVM:
  • 3/13: Free parking near the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine is available at the NC State Fairgrounds Lot across Blue Ridge Road (https://savmasymposium.com/campus_maps.cfm)
  • 3/14: Parking should be free on campus in the parking deck and ancillary lots. Please do not park in front of the hospital or any other spaces that indicate they are reserved. 
Lactation Spaces: 
Designed for privacy and include access to refrigeration for milk storage and equipment cleaning.
